Come and join our Data Analytics team as a Sales Account Manager.

We are looking for a Data Analytics Sales Account Manager for the Sales department in our Data Analytics – Business Unit at Sartorius. In this role, you will be responsible for commercial activities, managing a number of key accounts for our Data Analytics portfolio and driving sales growth.

The team consists of 9 professionals, and we are looking forward to shaping the future with you.  

This position is available for either for full – time based remotely in the UK and your territory will cover EMEA.

Grow with us – Your Responsibilities  

  • Promote the Data Analytics Solutions and services within EMEA, product range or key account to achieve sales and revenue targets

  • Identify new business opportunities aligned with the organization's overall market and growth strategy

  • Actively use SFDC to manage and document leads and opportunities, all customer interactions and sales activities ensuring that all customer and opportunity information is up-to-date and accurately entered in the CRM system

  • Analyse SFDC data for assigned customers to identify trends, generate customer insights and track sales performance

  • Actively drive newly launched innovative products and services into the marketplace and proactively follow up on the successful implementation of sales activity

  • Assess and analyse customer needs, generate leads, respond to customer inquiries and suggest products and services as appropriate

  • Develop and implement account plans and request and coordinate resources in line with the account plans

  • Work closely with cross functional team to create higher market perception and successful strategies to gain business from an account

  • Coordinate and participate in marketing activities in assigned territory

  • Frequently assess the potential of each customer and plan to realize it into business

  • Manage and build strong customer relationships for long term partnership

What will convince us 

  • Academic degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Bioprocess or Data Analytics or relevant field

  • Sales experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry with some laboratory or manufacturing experience

  • Understanding data analytics solutions and their applications in industry

  • Focused on meeting targets and deadlines

  • Strong customer focus with great communication and negotiation skills

  • Have excellent record management skills, use of CRM would be advantageous

  • Creative thinker when it comes to problem solving, self – motivated and results oriented

  • Persistent, ability to prioritise and work in a fast – paced environment and embrace change

  • Strong organisational skills

  • Ability to work as part of a cross functional team

  • Willingness to travel
