The Role: 

The Data Architect (DA) is an essential role within our Global Services organization with the responsibility of ensuring that data processes are correctly and optimally implemented and maintained for/by our clients and partners. The DA is the Data expert for Marigold and provides advice, best practices and actively collaborates in Solution Design, implementation and troubleshooting.

To be successful as a Data Architect you will need to be customer focused, technically minded, strive for continuous improvement, able to build and utilize your own personal network to achieve your goals, have proven problem-solving skills and have an excellent eye for detail to ensure the highest quality of delivery for our customers.

 What You’ll Do: 

  • Execute integration projects, connecting data from client’s and partner’s systems with the Selligent platform.

  • Maintain and optimize the performance of client’s and partner’s instances of Selligent.

  • Master an understanding of underlying consumer data that powers a client’s program and how to access it within the Selligent platform; ability to then explain this understanding to clients and partners, empowering them to further develop their programs. 

  • Translate new business use-cases into technical data requirements.  

  • Estimate scopes for project work based upon requirements; proactively manage deliverables tied to project plans.

  • Efficiently troubleshoot and diagnose potential issues with data entering, within, or exiting the Selligent platform.

  • Willingness to collaborate with other team members, taking on new assignments as instructed with a positive, can-do attitude.

Ideal Qualifications: 

  • University degree (Business, Computer Information Systems, or similar degree preferred) or equivalent experience with demonstrated proficiency

  • English is required with multiple languages being desired

  • 3+ years of experience Microsoft T-SQL in Data Cloud environment

  • Knowledge of ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, WCF and AWS

  • Familiarity with SOAP APIs, REST APIs, XML/XSL and integration techniques

  • Sufficient communication skills to consult with marketers about campaigns based on your strong internet knowledge.

  • Ability to collaborate with local and remote teams in different time zones

  • Experience in the digital marketing industry and Loyalty industry is strongly preferred
