- Ownership of Enterprise Master Datasets (EMD)
- Liaise with SMEs and conduct research to build and provide business knowledge for the EMD owned
- Collaborate with segment data owners to understand:
- Value of creating an EMD
- Content and structure requirements of EMD
- Understanding of existing data sources and systems
- Design data models for EMD
- Define tasks and groom backlog for EMDM Data Stewards to prepare data to populate EMD
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to design data pipelines, storage, and surfacing of data
- Define business logic to be included in data pipelines and surfacing of data
- Use influencing and project management skills to maximise adoption of EMD
- Create documentation to provide clear understanding of processes in collaboration with the Data Stewardship team
- Collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Stewardship team to design BAU processes
- Train and build up BAU function carried out by Data Stewards and Data Engineers
- Investigate and independently research ways for improving data through the mastering and connecting of datasets
- Investigate and independently research potential resources for providing data, and design processes to format and integrate data into EMD
- Design views/tables to surface relevant data from EMD to the business
- Create roadmaps for creation, adoption, and maintenance of master datasets
- Set standards and ensure the quality of data within EMD
- Critically think and ensure maximum value is being provided by EMDs for our business needs
- Strong problem solving and data investigation skills
- Strong technical foundation with proven experience in delivering data transformation projects
- MDM expertise
- Experience and skills in coaching and mentoring individuals through change
- Experience in data quality management and related business processes
- Hands on expertise with agile methodologies, product delivery and data analysis
- Understanding of how Python and SQL can be utilised for Data delivery
- Good stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Solid understanding of data modelling techniques and exploitation and BI tools
- SME knowledge of master data domains (companies, ports etc.)
