Your role at Dynatrace
Dynatrace's Business Intelligence team is seeking a dynamic and experienced Data Quality Lead to help drive data quality initiatives and establish a data-driven culture. The role will focus on ensuring the reliability, accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across the organization. The Data Quality Lead will work closely with Data Governance and BI teams to develop and refine Data Quality frameworks, ensuring that quality metrics are enforceable and practical. Data Quality Framework
- Develop and implement data quality frameworks, policies, and monitoring processes using tools like Snowflake, dbt, and Power BI
- Define data quality roles & responsibilities across business functional teams
Automation and Tooling
- Design and implement automated data quality checks, validation rules, and testing frameworks.
- Evaluate and recommend data quality tools to enhance monitoring and resolution
Issue Resolution
- Identify data quality challenges and proactively mitigate issues
- Partner with team members to perform root-cause analysis and coordinate remediation efforts
Collaboration
- Align with Data Governance, BI, and cross-functional teams to communicate data quality processes and best practices
- Partner with Data Owners and Stewards to capture data quality check requirements
- Act as a data quality ambassador across business units
KPI & Reporting:
- Define, monitor, and report on data quality KPIs
- Present findings and propose improvement areas to stakeholders
What will help you succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years working with enterprise data in a business intelligence, data management, operations or similar capacity
- 5+ years in data management, with leadership experience
- Strong background in creating and maintaining data quality frameworks, policies, standards, and processes
- Experience managing data quality measures across large datasets or complex data environments
- Knowledge of stewardship and management of metadata, master data, and reference data
- Familiar with industry-standard data quality methods, data governance frameworks, and best practices for defining data rules, KPIs, and metrics
- Experience in using data management tools like Snowflake, dbt, Power BI, and data governance platforms (i.e. DataHub)

- Strong understanding of data governance and data management principles
- Certifications in data governance or data management (e.g., CDMP, DGSP) are a plus
- Strong process-oriented skills with the ability to define and communicate clear data strategies
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, and able to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Able to lead cross-functional teams and drive data quality change initiatives
- Detail-oriented, analytical, organized, and focused on operational success
