Job Overview
We are seeking a data analyst to join our team. In this role, you will assist the Business Intelligence team by supporting with business commercial analysis and maintaining and improving our Looker Studio reporting suite

This is a fantastic opportunity for a data enthusiast looking to grow their career in analytics within a fast-paced and dynamic eCommerce environment. Our solutions are primarily built on the Google stack of which Looker Studio is our main BI reporting tool.

Your Role Will Involve:

Driving Business Value Through Data

    • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract insights from our databases.
    • Use data strategically to identify opportunities that deliver measurable impact on business performance.
    • Develop insights and actionable recommendations that align with business goals, empowering stakeholders to make informed decisions.
    • Assist in tracking and reporting trading performance across our 14 new international sites.

Looker Studio Reporting Suite Management

    • Maintain the company's Looker Studio reporting suite.
    • Develop and automate new reports and dashboards as required.
    • Ensure accurate and up-to-date reporting aligned with business needs.

Efficiency and Cost-Effective Solutions

    • Identify opportunities to streamline data workflows and reporting processes, reducing overhead while maintaining quality.
    • Champion cost-efficient solutions in reporting and analytics that maximize value without excessive resource use.

Ownership and Execution

    • Take end-to-end ownership of tasks and projects, delivering results on time and to a high standard.
    • Proactively identify challenges, propose solutions, and execute with minimal oversight.
Requirements

Requirements
We’re looking for someone who:

  • Holds a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related analytical field.
  • Has 1 - 2 year prior experience in an analytics or reporting role.
  • Have a strong grounding in statistics and aggregating information.
  • Is confident working with SQL (e.g., MySQL or BigQuery).
  • Possesses a strong understanding of Looker Studio or other BI tools.
  • Has excellent attention to detail and can ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Is comfortable working with large datasets and able to extract key insights.
  • Can communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Shows a willingness to learn and grow with the company.

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • Basic understanding of Python or other scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce data and metrics.
Benefits

The salary on offer for this role is £35,000 to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
