Demand Forecasting Analyst, Salary fixed - £31,759

Flexible UK Locations with FlexFirst hybrid working 

 

Overview

 

As a Demand Forecasting Analyst you’ll be accountable for forecasting all customer contact across the short- and long-term range for Customer fulfilment, including analysing the impact on business initiatives and changing environments.

 

(Office attendance circa twice per month, subject to team/business meetings).

 

The Role:

 

  • Production of long- and short-range forecasts across all Customer Fulfilment journeys (Voice, Chat, Complaints, WhatsApp, social media etc) including outbound contact

  • Managing the demand propensity models, linked to internal and external data sources, to create all workload demand forecasts

  • Review the demand implications of proposed business changes/initiatives to support identifying risk/opportunity associated

  • Working with Customer & Commercial partners to understand new products & propositions impacts on demand

  • Supporting the operation of modelling against demand planning scenarios to support risk assessments and mitigation planning

  • You’ll be collaborating effectively with Field Planning function to ensure latest field position (forecast lead times, reschedule rates and ASV mailing) are reflected in to demand forecasts

  • Identifying, analysing, and interpreting trends or patterns to prepare ongoing reports and data visualizations (e.g., charts, dashboards, heat maps) to support business decisions

 

The Person:

 

  • Prior experience of using Forecasting Tools and software for a large-scale operating model

  • Power BI experience

  • Knowledge and experience of Data management & analytics

  • Have worked within a Data modelling, design, and visualisation role previously

  • Understand Demand Management or have worked within a similar role across resource planning

  • Good knowledge or experience within Benefits analysis
