About Stora

Stora is a self storage software platform at the forefront of a technology-led transformation of the industry. We help operators run better businesses through automation, payments, reporting and modern customer experiences.

In just over four years, we’ve helped hundreds of operators globally process tens of millions in automated payments. We’ve proven product-market fit across multiple regions.

Our next phase of growth is deliberate and focused — increasing pipeline, improving efficiency and expanding further into Europe and beyond.

Why this role matters

Stora has strong UK and Ireland share, and we're pushing into France, DACH, and the Nordics. We're also moving upmarket in the UK, onboarding some of the biggest names in the industry. The marketing team is three people. There are no agencies. We move fast.

We're looking for a generalist marketer who orchestrates our marketing efforts with the help of AI. You'll be a π-shaped operator — depth in 1–2 core areas of marketing, fluency across the major functions, and the breadth to bring in contractors, freelancers, and AI agents to fill the gaps. Audience-first, campaign-led, AI-native by default. You'll work directly with our Head of Marketing.

What you'll be doing

Campaign orchestration

Design and run integrated, multi-channel campaigns that combine fuel (content, creative, messaging) with engine (distribution and channels). Pick the right format for each bet — product launches, paid programs, free tools, direct mail, landing pages, content — and run them end-to-end. Manage marketing goals and budget alongside the Head of Marketing, and connect product, GTM, and leadership around the work.

AI-powered execution

Use AI tools, workflows, and agents to extend your output without dropping the quality bar. Build and evolve our AI-first marketing stack. Train and enable the rest of the team to do the same.

Audience-first strategy

Start with a deep understanding of our audience — multi-site and enterprise self storage operators across the UK and Europe. Use insights (powered by AI and human research) to guide positioning, differentiation, and campaign priorities.

Breadth across marketing functions

Working knowledge and a strong sense of what great looks like across:

  • Product marketing — refine positioning and messaging, communicate value clearly, translate audience insight into differentiated campaigns

  • Growth and demand — launch and optimise campaigns across multiple channels, build automated and signal-based plays

  • Content and brand — own the narrative and "fuel" of the company; produce and distribute content that engages prospects, customers, and partners

What we mean by AI-native

We're hiring for the way you work, not for a list of tools. To make this concrete:

  • You use Claude Code, ChatGPT, or similar daily as a co-operator, not as a sidebar

  • You've built or want to build agents and workflows that take work off your plate

  • You've used tools like Clay, Motion, or equivalents to do real work, not just trial them

  • You read the marketing-AI conversation closely (Lenny's, MKT1, marketing Twitter) and have opinions about what's working

If "I use ChatGPT to draft emails" is your AI story, this isn't the right role.

What success looks like (6–12 months)
  • Clear ownership of product marketing across our priority segments

  • A higher cadence of campaigns shipped end-to-end, across multiple formats

  • Measurable contribution to pipeline from the campaigns you own

  • A more AI-native marketing function, with workflows and agents you've built or championed

We're looking for someone who
  • Has 3–5 years in B2B startup marketing, ideally with exposure to multiple sub-functions (product marketing, growth/demand, content/brand)

  • Has a track record of designing and running cross-channel campaigns with measurable impact

  • Is hands-on with AI and modern marketing tools, and can teach and scale these practices across a team

  • Is a strong strategic thinker with an audience-first mindset, able to translate insights into differentiation and growth

  • Is scrappy and adaptable: thrives in ambiguous environments, comfortable rolling up sleeves and experimenting

  • Is excited by the opportunity to shape a new kind of marketing role and help define how AI-native marketers work

Nice to have:

  • Core background in product marketing

  • Experience launching into European markets

  • Background marketing to operators, SMB, or multi-location businesses

  • Worked in a marketing team of five or fewer

Why Stora
  • Real ownership. You'll have whole functions, not slices.

  • A manager who's hands-on, AI-native, and unblocked by bureaucracy.

  • A market that's interesting (self storage is bigger and weirder than you'd think) and a product that's genuinely good.

  • Permission and budget to use the AI stack you want.

  • The chance to define what an AI-native marketing team looks like, before most companies have figured it out.

We're hiring for trajectory, not finished output. If you're looking for the role that lets you operate a few years ahead of where you "should" be, this is that role.

Working location

Fully remote within the UK and Ireland. Monthly travel to Belfast for team offsites.

What we offer
  • Competitive salary based on experience

  • Share options

  • 35 days annual leave

  • Private health insurance (you + family)

  • Company pension

  • Apple hardware

  • WFH budget

  • L&D support

  • Regular in-person team events

Next steps

We review applications on a rolling basis and will be in touch quickly if there’s a good fit.
