You will be part of an innovative and agile work environment, where you will implement future-oriented network solutions with your DevOps skills to manage one of Telekom Deutschland's most focused projects!
Our group called IPC is responsible for the integration, validation and production of test results that meet the requirements of the Deutsche Telekom AG Platform. The environment for our work is provided by a 4,000 square meter lab in Germany, where you can find a complete copy of the live network. We are developing the solutions of the future: including upcoming network devices, software, and the services built on them. These are developed, tested, and validated prior to the implementation phase to ensure their integration into the existing network infrastructure.

Tasks

  • Clarify and adapt requirements into the software environment under development
  • Develop and execute programming tasks (coding)
  • Install, configure, and administer software solutions
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
  • Support the lifecycle management of developed software, and proactively contribute improvement proposals and new ideas
  • Design and participate in test automation and testing processes
  • Ensure seamless integration into the existing infrastructure

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Experience in software engineering with extensive programming and language skills (Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Java, Perl)
  • Hands-on expertise in full-stack development using relevant frameworks (Web services, REST, application servers, microservices, (No)SQL databases, Vue.js)
  • Strong background in virtualization and cloud technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, VMware, Terraform, OpenStack)
  • Experience in big data architectures and analysis of unstructured data (JSON, XML)
  • Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab, JFrog Artifactory)
  • Proficiency in designing test automation and executing tests (Ansible)
  • Practical experience with modern collaboration tools in agile teams (Jira)
  • English proficiency at a minimum of B2 level
