We are now looking for a skilled and talented DevOps Engineer to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable pipelines and automated procedures to support multiple mission-critical platforms in the defense and homeland security domains.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implementation of scalable automation frameworks for mission-critical systems.
- Develop and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test and deployment processes.
- Automate Infrastructure provisioning and configuration management to enable rapid, repeatable deployments.
- Create custom scripts and automation procedures to streamline workflows
- Collaborate effectively with engineers and operation staff to gather requirements, refine CI/CD pipelines and perform peer reviews on automation code and scripts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in System Administration and DevOps roles.
- Deep expertise in Linux server administration, including networking, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Strong grasp of system security principles and best practices.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Proficiency with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like GitHub.
- Solid scripting skills in Bash or Python.
- Sharp problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong command of English.
Nice to have:
- Relevant certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, RHCE, or similar.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like ELK Stack or Dynatrace.
- Proficiency in German is a plus.
