Currently, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
  • Manage Azure cloud infrastructure, including provisioning, monitoring, and cost optimization.
  • Support containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes) aligned with customer cloud governance and security standards.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and delivery teams to streamline release management and improve deployment automation.
  • Own, support, and improve the programme's use of GitHub as the single source of all code repositories in the organization
  • Ensure code quality, branching strategies, and repository structure are maintained according to best practices.
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
  • Oversee security, compliance, and audit readiness, adhering to customer and public sector standards.
  • Provide technical consultancy and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders on Azure DevOps, GitHub, and automation practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve build, deployment, and performance issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.Requirements:
  • Azure Certified (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-400, or equivalent).

About you:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on industry experience in DevOps roles.
  • Minimum 1 years of hands-on use of GitHub. Preference will be given to candidates with the GitHub Foundations Certificate (GH-900)
  • Proven background in consulting or public sector projects.
  • Strong understanding of Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, and SLDC and CI/CD principles.
