About the role
Olive Jar Digital is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support the delivery of multiple AI-focused initiatives through Discovery and Alpha. You will design and maintain automated deployment pipelines, ensure environments are reliable and secure, and enable smooth integration of prototypes and services.
This role suits someone who enjoys building strong engineering foundations, improving developer workflows, and supporting rapid iteration in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Build and refine automated CI/CD pipelines for deploying AI prototypes, APIs, and supporting services.
  • Maintain development, testing, and staging environments, ensuring stability, observability, and security best practice.
  • Implement automated testing frameworks, including unit, integration, and regression checks within the deployment pipeline.
  • Set up and manage telemetry, monitoring, and logging solutions to support performance, debugging, and evaluation activities.
  • Collaborate with software developers, ML engineers, and data scientists to streamline deployment and integration workflows.
  • Produce and maintain documentation such as runbooks, environment guides, and pipeline configurations.
  • Support governance activities, including contributing to security reviews and remediation where required.
  • Contribute to knowledge transfer, technical demonstrations, and delivery artefact handovers.

About You
  • Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployment workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code, containerisation, and cloud-native services.
  • Skilled in monitoring, logging, telemetry, and automated testing integration.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering and product teams.
  • Strong understanding of secure engineering practices and environment management.
