We are incredibly proud to have earned a spot on The Sunday Times Best Places to Work List for the second year in a row.

Role Overview:

At Apadmi, we believe that innovation flourishes when diverse perspectives and experiences come together. We are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, supported, and empowered to do their best work. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Digital Product Manager to join our growing team and drive the success of our digital products.

As a Digital Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering innovative digital products that help our clients achieve their business objectives. You will work closely with the Head of Product to lead a squad of product professionals, collaborate with clients on their digital strategies, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our product processes and toolkits. This role offers a unique opportunity to have a meaningful impact on product creation and delivery within a dynamic and fast-growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Building: Develop strong, trust-based relationships with our clients, becoming their go-to digital advisor.
  • User-Centric Focus: Identify target users and audiences, ensuring that products meet the needs of a diverse range of users.
  • Customer Experience: Define opportunities to enhance the customer experience, translating these into actionable outcomes and user stories.
  • Product Development & Delivery: Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from initial concept through to successful launch and ongoing delivery.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data analysis to understand current and future customer needs, informing strategic decisions and product roadmaps.
  • Vision & Objectives: Understand and communicate the product’s vision and objectives, working with clients to create and deliver OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) for each phase.
  • Proactive Guidance: Anticipate client and user needs, recommending future product directions that align with evolving market trends.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure they understand the features and user stories, supporting the design and implementation of effective solutions.
  • Performance Optimization: Utilize performance metrics and field data analysis to refine and improve product impact, focusing on delivering value to all users.
  • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Create, deliver, and maintain the product strategy roadmap, prioritizing key features and enhancements.
  • Agile Leadership: Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, ensuring the team operates effectively and efficiently.
  • Team Leadership: Guide and mentor members of the Product Team, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where everyone can thrive.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to stakeholders, maintaining transparency and fostering open communication throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Resource Management: Ensure that resources are allocated effectively, working closely with Engineering and Account Managers to support the product’s success.
  • Financial Oversight: Track product progress against the initial roadmap, managing financial aspects such as resource allocation, expenditure, and cash flow.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks, documenting key assumptions, dependencies, and issues to ensure smooth product delivery.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the Product Team to share knowledge, support each other, and deliver successful outcomes for our clients.

What We’re Looking For:

To be successful in this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has:

  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in product management, with a strong understanding of mobile development project lifecycles.
  • Leadership Skills: A natural leader and problem solver, capable of making smart, practical decisions under pressure.
  • Commercial Acumen: Experience building product business cases and commercial justifications, with a proven track record of launching new products in mature markets.
  • Client Collaboration: Experience working closely with clients to develop roadmaps, define project scope, and negotiate costs, with a focus on setting and managing expectations.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively in both one-on-one and group settings.
  • Team Building: Strong people management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams, handle conflict, and provide constructive feedback in a positive manner.

As well as all the standard stuff you’ll get at Apadmi (think holidays, pension, the usual benefits), we have a collaborative community which offers a range of opportunities and rewards for our people, as well as excellent career development through our Apadmi Academy. We also trust our people to work in a way that supports their productivity, so we can offer a hybrid way of working which you are in control of. If it’s good for you, then it’s good for us, so let’s chat about what works during the interview process.
