Job Description:
As the ERM Market Enablement Director, you will be responsible for driving the organization's global market risk enablement initiatives. This role will focus on developing and maintaining relationships with leadership across various markets, conducting comprehensive market risk assessments, and empowering local teams to build sustainable risk management processes. The ERM Market Enablement Director will provide leadership with visibility into market-specific risks and support markets in developing their own risk management capabilities. Position reports to Risk Governance Senior Director.
The Impact You Will Make:
As the ERM Market Enablement Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Develop and execute a global market enablement strategy that aligns with the company's risk management framework.
  • Enhance the organization's resilience by identifying and addressing market-specific risks.
  • Empower local markets to implement effective risk management practices and processes.
  • Provide leadership with actionable insights into the risk landscapes of various markets.
  • Foster a culture of proactive risk management and awareness across all markets and segments.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team dedicated to market risk enablement.


Experience required:
Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success in:

  • Proven experience in developing and managing relationships with diverse, global stakeholders.
  • Extensive experience in risk management, with a thorough understanding of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) principles and practices.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the organization's industry, business model, and operations to accurately identify and evaluate risks pertinent to the organization's context
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct comprehensive risk assessments and present findings clearly.
  • Converting risk data into actionable insights for senior leadership and board reports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in developing and implementing risk management processes and frameworks.
  • Ability to travel internationally as needed to conduct market assessments and engage with local teams.


Responsibilities include:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with market leadership to facilitate effective risk management collaboration.
  • Conduct thorough, on-the-ground risk assessments for each market to identify, evaluate, and prioritize local risks.
  • Develop detailed risk reports and dashboards to provide leadership with visibility into market-specific risks.
  • Collaborate with market teams to develop and implement risk management processes tailored to local needs.
  • Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of risk management initiatives across markets.
  • Stay informed of global and local risk trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in risk management.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of risk management professionals dedicated to market enablement.

Qualifications:

  • Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) principles and practices.
  • Significant years of managerial experience in risk management
