LOCATIONS: Bristol, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Leeds
HOURS: Full-Time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites
About This Opportunity:
We’re looking for a Director – Personalisation with a strong background in digital channels planning and strategy, team leadership and digital marketing performance to join our team. It’s an exciting opportunity to craft and digitise the future of business and commercial banking. As part of our team, you’ll lead efforts to craft outstanding end-to-end experiences for our clients across various channels. Your primary responsibility will be to lead, plan and run a team delivering personalised customer experience in our desktop and mobile app, collaborating with platforms, marketing, and channel business units.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead a team of digital specialists to deliver business performance and growth
- Coordinate digital channel personalisation strategy from content design through to delivery; identifying the problem statement to deliver personalised communications that will support the business objectives.
- Develop the roadmap of personalisation changes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to share goals and deliver against business objectives.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to design cohesive experiences that deliver great customer and business outcomes.
- Advocate a growth mindset to solve customer and business problems, ensuring outcomes are measurable, contribute towards performance and driving commercial growth.
- Use a range of analytical tools to monitor performance and understand the impact of personalisation activity, making data-driven decisions around future plans and strategy.
- Stay updated on emerging personalisation trends and capabilities to ensure the use of new technologies as needed.

What you’ll need
- A Marketing or digital background with an understanding of digital marketing channels, targeting capabilities and techniques, and campaign performance optimisation.
- A proactive approach, with a desire to make a difference to how our customers perceive and interact with our digital channels, through personalisation.
- Great visual, written and verbal communication skills, showcasing an attention to fine detail and ability to simplify the storyline and influence others.
- Excellent planning and organisation skills to ensure continued delivery at pace of business and customer objectives.
- A strong, data-led, commercial approach to spot optimisation opportunities to improve customer engagement and experiences.
- Excellent partner and team management skills, able to proactively communicate to ensure work progresses and relationships are strengthened.
And any experience of these would be useful
- Confident being active SLT member into Head of Function.
- Strong understanding of data and technology.
- Experience of digital channel strategy and planning.
- Experience of business risk management controls and regulation in digital.
