Position Overview
We're searching for a Director / Sr. Director, Technology Operations to join our Engineering Enablement team on a remote basis or hybrid from an Applied Systems office. In this role, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, optimizing processes, and developing strategies that enable our technology teams to deliver high-quality products efficiently and effectively across the technology organization. It will require the building of strong relationships across the ecosystem that will facilitate driving change.

What You'll Do
  • Partner with technology and business leaders to develop and execute a multi-year roadmap for operational improvements and innovation across the technology organization
  • Engage engineering leadership in planning to align the work of many global engineering teams as we transform and integrate products across the ecosystem
  • Design, drive, and implement processes to improve efficiency, collaboration, and productivity across technology teams
  • Ensure technology teams operate with the tools, infrastructure, and support needed to deliver high-quality work
  • Drive the utilization of AI as warranted and effective to increase insights, efficiency and throughput
  • Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new processes, tools, and strategies across technology teams
  • Align workflows, tools, and methodologies to ensure consistency and scalability where there is benefit to the larger organization

We're Excited to Learn More About You
Your experience may include:
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering operations, program management, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing strategies that drive operational excellence in engineering organizations
  • Advanced knowledge of engineering workflows, tools, and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, DevOps)
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex operational challenges
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, drive change, and foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field

You may have other skills or credentials, including:
  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
