We are looking for a DLP Operations Analyst, reporting to the Data Security Lead – who will be responsible for: –

  • Protecting sensitive data, in motion and at rest, from unauthorised access, loss or breaches

  • Triaging DLP events generated by DLP tools and responding accordingly

  • Supporting technology based DLP Investigations alongside other key stakeholders

  • Supporting colleagues and Line Managers with the implications of Data Loss Prevention

  • Responding to general queries relating to DLP and actioning email release requests from colleagues

  • Supporting DLP Technical Specialists by providing suggestions for improving existing DLP policies or for new use cases

  • Producing DLP metrics relating to DLP events and associated breaches

  • Creating and maintaining Operational Playbooks and Process Guides

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with DLP tools

  • Experience of handling data security incidents involving data loss or breaches

  • Knowledge of data classification methods, data masking, data encryption and TLS

  • Ability to analyse different types of information quickly and accurately to identify and escalate data loss incidents in a timely manner

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills along with the ability to build and maintain relationships cross functionally

  • Knowledge of data protection regulations and standards such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA and PCI-DSS

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work and interact with people at all levels and from all different backgrounds

  • Knowledge of the current cyber security threat landscape

  • Experience of working in a complex and evolving environment in regulated Financial Services across different regions and jurisdictions preferred
