The Role

We are looking for a Documentation & Training Specialist to join our team and help bridge the gap between aquaculture science and modern technology.
In this role, you will create, manage, and deliver documentation and training content that helps our clients get the most out of our products, systems, and processes. You will work closely with product and customer success teams to develop clear, accurate materials and design learning experiences that drive adoption and improvement.
This position is ideal for someone with some experience in aquaculture or related fields who wants to grow into a role that blends technical writing, training, and change management within a digital transformation context.
Content Creation
- Draft, review, and maintain technical and non-technical documentation, including user guides and how-to materials.
- Use AI tools and Large Language Models (LLMs) to assist in summarizing and refining content for clarity and consistency.
- Ensure all documentation aligns with product updates, regulatory requirements, and internal standards.
Training Development
- Design and develop training programs and materials to support user onboarding, skill development, and product adoption.
- Create content for online tutorials, videos, and digital learning resources.
- Assess learning needs and translate complex information into structured, easy-to-follow modules.
Training Delivery
- Deliver training sessions to clients and internal teams, both on site and online.
- Support users during product rollouts or upgrades, ensuring smooth transitions.
Documentation Management
- Maintain and organize documentation repositories to ensure content is accurate, accessible, and up to date.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather feedback and continuously improve documentation and training materials.
Quality and Compliance
- Proofread, edit, and standardize all content.
- Ensure documentation reflects relevant industry and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Marine Biology, Aquaculture, Environmental Science, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in aquaculture operations, research, or a related role.
- Excellent written and spoken English (working knowledge of Greek, Turkish, or Spanish is considered a plus).
- Interest in digital transformation, data-driven practices, and AI-assisted documentation development.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with documentation or collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence, Notion, Google Workspace).
Nice to Have
- Experience in technical writing, training, or knowledge management.
- Understanding of change management and user adoption in technology projects.
- Basic skills in video or graphic editing (e.g., Canva, Snagit, Camtasia).
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) or e-learning content creation.
