Role description:
We’re looking for an experienced HSE Manager to join our rapidly growing team. You will play a key role in the delivery of one of our biggest data centre construction projects in the Nordics.

The successful candidate will be based either 100% in country, or there will be significant international travel to Norway or Finland.   
Role accountabilities:

  • Provide direction and support for implementation of the ESH & Security Plan
  • Verify that the project/site-specific ESH procedures protect personnel and the general public.
  • Hold line management accountable for ESH Management System implementation and performance.
  • Encourage the proactive involvement of all personnel in executing the ESH program.
  • Oversee ESH performance on the project/site.
  • Review incident records and verify that all follow-up actions are completed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure incidents where personal injuries occur are thoroughly and appropriately investigated and ensure closure of subsequent action items.
  • Participate in audits and weekly planned inspections of the site and ensure closure of subsequent action items.
  • Continuously monitor Arcadis and contractor ESH performance indicators and project / site inspection reports.
  • Conduct performance evaluations to include personal ESH involvement and performance.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Extensive experience in a ESH Manager role on major construction projects 
  • Experience working on data centre/technology project experience preferred but not essential 
  • Experience working in consultancy, general contractor or client-side environments
