In this role, you will be responsible for defining and delivering the regional vision for Employee Relations, Labor Relations, and HR Generalist services across Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), building data-driven risk mitigation strategies, and optimizing a complex service delivery model.

You will lead a dedicated regional team of professionals in a highly matrixed environment, serving as a critical architect of change and a key strategic partner to Human Resources Centers of Excellence, Human Resources Business Partners, and executive leadership to enable business growth and support Mergers and Acquisitions activity.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Strategic Labor & Employee Relations: Architect and execute the EMEA-wide labor relations strategy, overseeing complex collective bargaining, managing relationships with Works Councils and unions, and leading a regional team of investigators to ensure compliant performance management and legal compliance during organizational transformations.

  • Continuous Improvement & Model Optimization: Optimize a hybrid outsourced and in-house HR generalist model, driving scaling and automation efforts to simplify generalist workflows and standardizing cross-border processes while respecting local legal nuances.

  • Transformation & Change Leadership: Lead the strategic vision for the regional function, driving large-scale transformational change aligned with global business goals while moving the team from reactive compliance to proactive business partnership.

  • Data-Driven Insights & System Innovation: Build and implement regional tracking systems to capture granular case data, leveraging Artificial Intelligence opportunities to convert trends into actionable business intelligence for leadership.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive experience in regional employment laws, complex Employee Relations investigations, and managing multi-country union or Works Council relationships across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (with a strong preference for experience in France and/or Germany).

  • Strong knowledge of modern Human Resources technology solutions, data analytics strategies, and "hybrid" internal/outsourced service delivery models.

  • Influential Leadership: Proven ability to manage, coach, and develop regional teams while successfully influencing senior stakeholders within a complex, matrixed organization.

  • Change Architecture: Success in leading large-scale organizational transformations and navigating the employee and labor relations complexities of Mergers and Acquisitions.

  • Professional Certification: A valid Human Resources certification, such as Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional / Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-CP/SCP), or a local equivalent is preferred.

What We Offer

  • Flexible work options/alternative work options to support work–life balance (Ability to work remote)

  • Competitive compensation and benefits package aligned with experience

  • Total Rewards plan to support your career and wellbeing

  • Opportunities for continuous learning, professional development, and growth

  • Note: This role requires up to 10% travel to maintain business knowledge and key relationships.
