We are looking for an Engineering Manager to support the technical assurance activities associated with the design and implementation of a major infrastructure programme in the West of Scotland. You will manage multi-disciplinary teams and provide guidance and support to the Project Engineers.

What Do We Need

You will have experience of working in a Nuclear or other highly regulated environment.

The responsibilities include technical assurance activities and project engineering, specifically site implementation and integration.

Ensuring compliance with legislation and standards is critical. This role involves producing technical documentation such as reports, specifications, and technical queries. Additionally, liaising with a range of stakeholders, undergoing basic health and safety training for site visits, and having knowledge of nuclear safety cases is essential.

The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team is important, along with supervising and mentoring the engineering team. Good attention to detail, coupled with excellent organisational and communication skills, is required.

Location

The role is Hybrid where 3 days per week will be spent in the office in Glasgow City Centre.

Security Requirements

You must have, or be eligible for, SC clearance.
