Senior Enterprise Account Manager

Immersive is hiring! Could you be our next Enterprise Account Manager?

We seek a senior sales person with experience in the cybersecurity sector based within the United Kingdom to target a greenfield of enterprise accounts and established markets. As a key member of the Immersive Sales team, you will be part-consultant, part-advocate and part-relationship manager - but always keeping the customer and their pain points centre of mind as you introduce the Immersive solution and kick start their journey towards cyber resilience.

Our Sales team consists of driven, curious, proven enterprise sales professionals that have established relationships within cybersecurity and have sold into such varied sectors as Retail, Pharmaceutical, Finance, Government and many more. The great thing about Immersive and our solution is we can work with any enterprise organisation, regardless of sector.

This position has come about due to our ambitious growth plans and we can’t wait to have you join our mission to help organisations be ready to tackle the cyber threats of tomorrow!

Sales should be built on not just relationships but proving value - our best sales people here are consultative, customer focused and constantly expanding their knowledge through cross-team collaboration. The Solution Consultant will be your partner as you conduct POVs to prospective and existing customers, but you will also build and leverage relationships with Customer Success, Product Marketing and our in-house Cyber & Engineering teams.

Now, the first thing on your mind as you read this is probably salary - You’ll get a generous base and great OTE with uncapped earning potential – when you smash your targets, you’ll be rewarded. We also give you a piece of the pie with share options.

Your success in this role will come from developing new & existing business in an assigned territory of FTSE 100 / 250 and large enterprise accounts, driving engagement and building rock solid relationships with new prospects and existing customers - we don’t want quick transactional sales, we value long term relationships with our customers that grow and develop as they journey towards achieving cyber resilience

As one of the senior individual contributors in sales, your main responsibilities will include (we're scaling fast, so these may change as we grow):

  • Creating and executing the sales strategy for your territory

  • Winning large-scale enterprise business (Fortune 500 / FTSE 250 / Global 2000) that’ll have a direct impact on Immersive’s success

  • Building relationships with CISOs – while growing that revenue figure

  • Qualifying sales with clients using a methodology such as MEDDIC/MEDDPICC

  • Educating the market on our groundbreaking cybersecurity solution by attending local and national events (such as Technology Partner Roadshows, Happy Hours, BlackHat and RSA)

  • Researching and tracking your progress on Salesforce and using LinkedIn’s Sales Navigator


Sounds good? We’d love to hear from you if you have proven experience in the following areas, but don’t worry if you don’t hit each one exactly:

  • You are in your element selling cybersecurity and complex software solutions to enterprise organizations.

  • Thrive in conversations with C-Level stakeholders and are equally engaging with technical leaders

  • Demonstrate ability to manage large complex deals with multiple stakeholders to be engaged during the sales cycle. It takes a village sometimes, so while you are self-sustaining you also know when to leverage other departments skills.

  • You have built strong relationships within the sector and equally strong internal relationships. You leverage these to help solve problems for customers and ultimately strengthen the product offering.

  • Navigating complex enterprises and buying centres from prospect to close. We build strong relationships with our customers which can develop over years.

What kind of person are we looking for? Again, you don’t have to match everything, but ideally you will display the following traits:

  • Empathy, high emotional intelligence, and heightened listening skills to really get to the crux of what a customer needs

  • A hunting mindset – you get a buzz from seeking out a great prospect, aligning their problem with our solution, and being able to close the deal

  • The discipline, motivation, and drive to take knocks, then the resilience to do it all again tomorrow

  • You’re not a lone wolf – although you’ll mostly be remote, you’ll reach out to teams across disciplines, knowing their input and collaboration is what secures the best deals

As with any role, there will be challenges - this role may not suit if you are used to dealing with smaller to midsize enterprises with faster deal cycles or are not used to consultative and solutions based sales. Our solution is not one-size fits all, we strive to understand the customers pain points in order to position our solution to enable our clients to make an informed purchasing decision.
