The Role
Capco is seeking consultants to join our growing ESG and Non-Financial Risk (NFR) capability. You’ll support clients across financial services in navigating complex ESG regulations while also driving enterprise and operational risk transformation. You will play a key role in shaping sustainable governance models, enhancing risk controls, and aligning regulatory compliance with strategic business priorities.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver ESG regulatory and sustainability advisory services across frameworks such as CSRD, SFDR, TCFD, EU Taxonomy, and ISSB.

  • Support enterprise and operational risk projects, enhancing processes and controls across first and second line functions.

  • Conduct gap analyses, double materiality assessments, and impact assessments for both ESG and non-financial risk domains.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to draft ESG strategies, risk policies, and enterprise-wide frameworks.

  • Lead client engagements, balancing regulatory compliance with value-driven sustainability and risk outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong knowledge of ESG regulatory standards and enterprise/non-financial risk frameworks.

  • Experience in risk transformation or regulatory change programmes, ideally within financial services.

  • Ability to interpret evolving regulatory requirements and align them to practical business strategies.

  • Excellent communicator with a track record of stakeholder engagement across business functions.

  • Skilled in analysing risk and sustainability data to develop actionable insights and reporting.

Bonus Points For

  • Certifications such as CFA ESG, CFA CCI, GARP, or equivalent in sustainability or risk.

  • Consulting background with a focus on ESG, sustainability, or risk advisory.

  • Experience in climate risk disclosures, carbon accounting, or sustainability data platforms.

  • Familiarity with control testing, risk assurance, or policy development.

  • Ability to manage multi-jurisdictional regulatory environments and cross-border ESG/NFR strategies.
