Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive intern to join our Expense Management team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the team’s day-to-day operations, ensuring that financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. You will assist with invoice reviews, payment processing, and record maintenance while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to resolve discrepancies. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, eager to learn, and interested in gaining hands-on experience in financial operations and process improvement.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Assist with reviewing and processing invoices
- Support the preparation of payment runs
- Help maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Communicate with internal departments and vendors to resolve invoice or payment discrepancies
- Assist with data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks as assigned
- Contribute to process improvement projects or other finance-related initiatives as opportunities arise
- Other tasks as assigned by the Expense Management team
Required knowledge, skills and experience:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Business and Banking, or a related field
- Microsoft Excel skills
- Attention to detail and eagerness to learn
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
