About the location:

Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor, perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and surrounded by panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the stunning landscape, first opened its doors in August 2024 following an extensive restoration and renovation of the historic property, originally inaugurated in 1929 on a vast private estate. After its successful debut, the resort will reopen to guests in March 2025, reaffirming its status as a unique destination of luxury and elegance on the island.

 About the role

In this leadership role, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring impeccable service standards, and creating an exceptional dining experience for our guests. You will lead by example, guiding and motivating the team to consistently deliver excellence while fostering a positive and collaborative environment.

What you will do

- Oversee the general service, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

- Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the service team, ensuring quality and efficiency standards are met.

- Assign and distribute tasks among the service staff to ensure smooth and organized workflow.

- Train and mentor the team on service techniques, menu knowledge, and operational protocols.

- Ensure high-level customer service, effectively handling any issues or complaints.

- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure correct presentation and timely service of dishes.

- Ensure proper implementation of restaurant policies and procedures, maintaining an organized and safe work environment.

- Supervise the inventory of beverages, menus, and other necessary supplies for restaurant operations.

- Coordinate with management to develop strategies to improve service quality and guest satisfaction.

What you bring

Supervisory Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within hospitality or the restaurant industry, demonstrating the ability to lead and manage a team effectively.

Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate and guide the service team, ensuring high performance and consistent service standards.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with both staff and guests.

Customer Service Orientation: Strong focus on guest satisfaction, with the ability to anticipate guest needs and ensure their overall experience is exceptional.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to handle guest complaints or issues calmly and effectively, both with customers and staff.

Menu and Service Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the restaurant’s menu, including dishes, beverages, and standard operating procedures.

Team Collaboration: A collaborative mindset to work effectively with other restaurant departments such as the kitchen and management.

Organizational Skills: High attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and ensure smooth operations.

Adaptability and Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Work Experience: 2 Years

Degree: Professional /Technician

Languages: Spanish / English

Language Ability: High

Schedule & Hours:

Seasonal contract, full Time, 40 hours per week, with consecutive and rotating shifts (including early mornings, days, evenings and weekends).
