We are looking for a Field Account Manager R&D Lonza EU(x|f|m) for our Sales Bioprocess Solutions department. You will be based in Switzerland (Canton of Valais), Germany or United Kingdom (Greater London area). In this role, you will be responsible for our Strategic Accounts focusing on Research & Development in the biopharmaceutical industry. If you have a deep biotechnological process understanding and would be keen to work closely with our customers, shape latest developments in the Life Science industry and lead technical conversations then we can´t wait to receive your application.
The team consists of 4 professionals and we are looking forward to shaping the future with you.
This position is available for full-time. It is a remote role requiring some days on site at
our strategic accounts in Switzerland or UK with the opportunity to work some days remotely. We require 50 % of travelling within the mentioned region.

  • Execute the seeding strategy in Strategic Accounts and modality segment

  • Build strong technical relationships with customers to drive technology adoption and collaborate with the commercial team

  • Provide consultancy to accelerate molecule development and support long-term partnerships

  • Present Sartorius solutions that are relevant and practical for customers and their KPIs

  • Conduct trials and demos at customer sites to commercialize early opportunities, working closely with Field Account Specialists and Business Area teams

  • Support process transfer regionally and globally, sharing knowledge and best practices with the commercial team

  • Act as a process consultant to drive adoption of Sartorius technologies and support regulatory activities to enhance market awareness and expert image

What will convince us

  • Hold a Master's degree in biochemistry, biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, or equivalent in life sciences

  • Bring several years of experience in biopharmaceutical process development, scale-up, process characterization, technology transfer, production, or application support in upstream or downstream

  • Demonstrate proven skills in relevant process unit operations in cGMP Bioprocessing and possess related regulatory knowledge

  • Understand biologics drug development and application processes. Communicate and present technical added values effectively

  • Excel in teamwork and work seamlessly with cross-functional teams without formal authority, taking strong ownership of projects while executing collaboratively

  • Inspire business sense and demonstrate commercial attitude

  • Speak and write fluently in English, Spanish or German is a plus

  • Exhibit self-motivation and ambition

  • Embrace change and pursue continuous improvement with an entrepreneurial approach
