About the team

The Field Marketing team is dedicated to nurturing and empowering startup founders across the EMEA region. We focus on creating and enhancing regional programs and experiences that facilitate learning, connection, and success for startups using Stripe. This team plays a pivotal role in community-building through thought leadership, networking opportunities, interactive events, and tailored marketing strategies.

What you’ll do

In this impactful role, you will spearhead our EMEA Startups audience marketing and community events strategy. You will create, deliver, and elevate regional programs designed to empower startup founders. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will engage with startup founders through thought leadership and community-driven experiences. Your work will be instrumental in fostering a sense of community among founders and aligning with our mission to support startups in achieving their goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement startup audience marketing and community strategy across EMEA in collaboration with Global Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Startup Sales and Partnerships teams.
  • Work alongside regional communications and product marketing to produce thought leadership content tailored for regional audiences.
  • Design and lead community-driven events, including Stripe-hosted gatherings and partner events, to inspire networking and learning opportunities.
  • Manage programs with VC, Accelerator, and Incubator partners to create valuable community experiences and marketing activations.
  • Collaborate with Startup sales teams to enhance prospecting and follow-up processes through programmatic methods.
  • Create regional marketing programs to accelerate leads in partnership with the sales organization.
  • Ensure alignment with EMEA events and field marketing teams to maintain brand consistency and outreach.
  • Provide sales teams with the necessary toolkits, templates, and campaign timelines to integrate community-focused marketing and sales efforts.
  • Participate in executing awareness campaigns to emphasize Stripe’s support for startups.
  • Monitor and report program outcomes, constantly striving to enhance community engagement approaches.

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

  • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, particularly in community-building events, customer marketing, and multi-channel initiatives.
  • Successful track record in developing community strategies and organising events that achieve engagement and growth benchmarks.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adept at translating complex ideas into digestible content.
  • A proactive and adaptable startup mentality, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational and project management abilities, with the capacity to oversee multiple projects concurrently.
  • Proven leadership and collaboration skills across various teams.
  • Analytical skills to convert insights into actionable strategies for community engagement.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with marketing to startup audiences and familiarity with the startup ecosystem.
  • A demonstrated passion for cultivating and engaging communities.
