Work Culture

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Analyst to join the Advanced Products Team during a time of sizeable growth. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Analyst will be responsible for providing high quality, accurate and actionable financial analysis and insight to the Advanced Products Finance and Programme teams.

The individual must have the resilience to work in a pressured environment and will be relied upon to support in the development of the AOP and 5 Year Plan, Quarterly EACs, monthly forecasting and variance analysis. This role would suit an individual looking to grow their potential and skill set, supporting the flawless program execution of the existing portfolio.

Main Duties:

Provided financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business partnering support across programme and commercial operations. Assisted with budgeting, pricing, new business proposals, risk management, stakeholder engagement, customer reporting, and strategic financial analysis to support business growth, profitability, and compliance.

Desirable Skills/Requirements

These are advantageous qualifications or experience that can strengthen an application but are not usually mandatory:

  • Commercial experience within a defence, aerospace, or complex contracting environment
  • Project accounting experience
  • Experience using SAP, Cognos, and Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Existing security clearance, or willingness and ability to obtain one.
