What you can expect

As a Finance Business Partner, you will collaborate closely with business leaders, providing strategic financial support and insights  whilst ensuring the alignment of financial plans with organisational goals. You will have the opportunity to work in an ambitious environment where your contributions directly impact Skyscanner’s growth and success.

Financial Analysis

  • Lead the annual budgeting process for your business area, aligning with broader organizational efforts.
  • Partner with FP&A teams to build accurate forecasts and financial plans.
  • Analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts, delivering actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports, highlighting trends, variances, and opportunities.

Strategic Partnering

  • Act as a trusted adviser, providing business leaders with insights and counsel.
  • Support critical initiatives through financial modeling and scenario analysis.
  • Collaborate across teams to align financial and operational goals, driving efficient results.

Performance Management

  • Supervise and report on metrics to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Find ways to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Lead financial performance reviews with business leaders, driving discussions on strategy and priorities.
  • Anticipate financial risks and opportunities, crafting actionable mitigation strategies

Operational Improvement

  • Improve financial planning and analysis processes to increase accuracy and efficiency.
  • Leverage technology and data analytics for streamlined reporting and actionable insights.

Experience & Qualifications

We hope to attract a well-rounded individual who thrives in navigating sophisticated problems and is comfortable leading multiple initiatives in a dynamic environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (MBA or CA )
  • Proven experience in finance or accounting roles, ideally with business partnering exposure.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling with sophisticated Excel skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle) and financial planning tools (e.g., Adaptive Planning)
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills to optimally convey insights to partners.
  • Strong understanding of business landscapes and the ability to translate financial data into actionable strategies.
  • A dedication to ethical behavior and maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity.
