We ensure that the highest standards of financial and accounting principles are upheld both from global operations and local perspective. We support our Business Partners E2E (end to end) in all financial matters with reference to the Product Portfolio, Medical, or Research and Development activities. Our team is characterized by diversity, educational and cultural background as well as ranging from years of professional experience. We are distributed across 8 sites in Europe and the US, and working closely together, acting as a team is important for us.   

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide decision-support and act as business counsel for all financial matters affecting manufacturing, providing transparency, clarity and setting financial direction.

  • Collaborate with business and finance peers to monitor and achieve goals and key metrics

  • Develop recommendations to address and mitigate potential issues as required and ensure alignment around goals and objectives.

  • Drive and Deliver the achievement of quantitative (KPIs, Targets etc.) and qualitative targets for GO

  • Provide qualitative and timely reporting to Global Operations (Monthly Outlook, Actuals)

  • Provide qualitative and timely reporting to business partners, the Lifecycle Team, Strategic finance and other stakeholders

  • Identify value drivers and contribute to ensure transparency of results, processes and contribute to higher economic effectiveness

  • Develop regular and effective communications with a network of financial business partners to support the financial reporting process and ensure alignment around goals and objectives

  • Support the target setting, budgeting and forecasting for the areas of responsibilities

  • Respect compliance with all relevant Roche guidelines and policies (FGAR and divisional manuals).

  • Continuously improve processes and systems, leveraging expertise to address challenges and enhance efficiency. Serve as legacy system (Net-Suite) expert for finance-related matters.

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and collaborate effectively across various levels of the organization.

 Who you are:

  • Solid understanding of financial principles and practices, with the ability to provide counsel on financial matters affecting manufacturing.

  • Ability to analyze financial data, identify value drivers, and provide insights to improve economic efficiency and ensure transparency of results.

  • Proven capability to make sound financial decisions, set direction, and provide recommendations to address and mitigate potential issues.

  • Proficiency in crafting and delivering timely and accurate financial reports to stakeholders including Global Operations, business partners, and strategic finance teams.

  • Strong collaborative and communication skills to work optimally with business and finance peers, develop networks of financial business partners, and align goals and objectives.

  • Expertise in setting targets, budgeting, and forecasting to support areas of responsibility while adhering to relevant Roche guidelines and policies.
