Our Finance team plays a critical role in driving informed decision-making, ensuring financial integrity, and delivering strategic insights that support business growth. The Financial Accountant will support our Financial Controller in leading the financial accounting processes across the business.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and insightfulness of financial outputs, while partnering with stakeholders across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reportingincluding preparing monthly management accounts, supporting audits and contributing to the annual budget
  • Controls & Systems including process improvement, CAPEX process and insurance renewal process
  • Business Partnering including preparing overhead reports and forecasting processes
  • Projects including challenging the business on the spend and "value for money" and reviewing the working capital

What we are looking for:

  • You will be a full or part qualified accountant with exceptional experience in financial accounting, controls and reporting. Experience within FMCG is preferred
  • You will be a strong communicator and confident in engaging across all levels of our business
  • Being well-organised, resilient and determined will also allow you to be successful in this role
  • Previous experience in a fast paced manufacturing business would be preferred, however, not essential

This role is available on a hybrid basis with 2 days a week from our office in Blackford.
