The Financial Accountant will support our Financial Controller in leading the financial accounting processes across the business.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and insightfulness of financial outputs, while partnering with stakeholders across our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reportingincluding preparing monthly management accounts, supporting audits and contributing to the annual budget
- Controls & Systems including process improvement, CAPEX process and insurance renewal process
- Business Partnering including preparing overhead reports and forecasting processes
- Projects including challenging the business on the spend and "value for money" and reviewing the working capital
What we are looking for:
- You will be a full or part qualified accountant with exceptional experience in financial accounting, controls and reporting. Experience within FMCG is preferred
- You will be a strong communicator and confident in engaging across all levels of our business
- Being well-organised, resilient and determined will also allow you to be successful in this role
- Previous experience in a fast paced manufacturing business would be preferred, however, not essential
This role is available on a hybrid basis with 2 days a week from our office in Blackford.
