3. Controls, Process, & Systems

  • Internal Controls: Design, document, and enforce internal financial controls and policies across all functions (Finance, Operations, Inventory) to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.
  • System Implementation: Act as the finance lead for the ERP system implementation and migration, ensuring seamless data transition and functional integrity across all modules (GL, AP, AR, Inventory).
  • Transactional Oversight: Oversee and manage the efficiency and accuracy of transactional processes, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and fixed asset management.

4. Manufacturing & Cost Accounting

  • Inventory Control: Establish robust policies and controls for inventory valuation, tracking, and reconciliation in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

  • Variance Analysis Support: Collaborate with FP&A to support the analysis of manufacturing variances (e.g., spending, usage, and efficiency) to drive cost reduction efforts.

5. Team Leadership & Development

  • Directly manage and mentor the junior accounting team (e.g., Accountant, AP/AR staff).
  • Drive continuous process improvement across the finance function using Lean/Six Sigma principles to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort.
