Job Description
How you will contribute:

  • Lead medium size reformulation projects across different chocolate category platforms in the area of the flavours in Europe, adding the value to the products and eliminating consumer irrelevant product features
  • Support Procurement sourcing and business continuity projects, validate alternative limited flavours suppliers on sensory and process-ability metrics
  • Cooperate with Subject Matter Experts to assure our limited flavours specifications deliver desired technical functionality, reflect sensory expectations of our consumers and are process-able on our production lines
  • Run pilot plant trials and basic sensory validations, to assess the quality of the solution generated, constantly seeking for optimization and improvement
  • Challenge status quo, be curious, optimize formulas, judge and challenge incoming ideas to help to assure efficient R&D resources utilization on fewer but bigger initiatives
  • Work on flavours spec content reflecting industry standard features and making them up to Mondelez Specification Quality Standards
  • Cooperate within multifunctional projects teams to successfully deliver the solutions


What you will bring:

  • University degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Technology or related
  • Experience in food industry and confectionery is a strong advantage
  • Chocolate, sensory, PLM, spec management system, SAP knowledge would be appreciated
  • Fluency in English required, other language skills (Polish) are beneficial
  • General knowledge of food manufacturing technologies, ingredients and technical curiosity, ability to operate or to learn fast how to operate pilot plant equipment
  • Good project management and negotiation skills
  • Enthusiasm and full accountability for the results, self standing, open and ready to learn on the job
  • Can do attitude, thinking out of the box, creativity and happy to take up the challenges
  • Ability to work independently in a diverse and international environment


It's a fixed-term contract of employment for 1 year
