This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.

The person

The successful candidate will have significant MS SQL experience and exceptional analytical skills with proven experience of data modelling business solutions with MS SQL Server 2016 and above. Experience of data warehousing, ETL and data integration is key. You will have good expertise of the systems development life cycle and processes, as well as general programming concepts. It would be an advantage if you had experience with either Python or C# and with Microsoft Azure, especially Data Factory, Synapse, and Microsoft Fabric, however this isn’t essential.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills to be able to define and convey technical expectations and project goals. You will have a real passion for all aspects of data engineering, staying up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and have a keen eye for detail and a collaborative working approach. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in working on multiple projects simultaneously, enjoy working independently and as part of a wider team. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work is fundamental to this role.

Our values of integrity, community and alignment are the guiding principles that influence our behaviour. They help us make decisions and shape our relationships with others.
