We're looking for a talented Full Stack Web Developer with a strong front-end focus to join our Digital Marketing team. The Digital Marketing team at Anaconda powers how the world discovers and understands our mission to make open-source data science and AI accessible to everyone. We build and maintain the web properties that serve millions of developers, data scientists, and enterprise customers, and we do it by combining technical rigor with a deep understanding of user needs.
As part of the Digital Marketing team, you'll own front-end architecture and user experience across our web properties. You'll partner directly with designers, content teams, and our backend developer to translate creative vision into fast, accessible, maintainable experiences that move the needle on engagement and conversion.
What You'll Do:
- Own front-end architecture across our WordPress ecosystem, building responsive and accessible interfaces in modern JavaScript that integrate cleanly with backend systems and drive consistent user experiences.
- Transform design concepts into performant, pixel-precise implementations, building reusable component systems that scale across web properties while upholding accessibility and progressive enhancement standards.
- Partner with content creators and marketers to build flexible, maintainable tools for rapid content deployment, including custom WordPress blocks and page-building systems that empower non-technical users.
- Serve as the technical voice in design discussions and user advocate in technical planning, ensuring feasibility is validated early and design system implementation stays consistent across all touchpoints.
- Investigate performance bottlenecks and lead improvements in Core Web Vitals, load times, and front-end reliability to deliver measurable gains in site quality.
- Collaborate openly with the backend developer to deliver cohesive full-stack solutions, sharing context early and closing the loop on cross-functional deliverables.
Your impact will be measured through:
- Improvements in Core Web Vitals scores and site performance metrics
- User engagement and conversion outcomes across key web properties
- Development velocity and code quality of front-end deliverables
- Marketing team productivity enabled by CMS tools and content systems
- 3+ years of web development experience with demonstrated expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React
- Experience with WordPress development including custom themes, plugins, and content management workflows
- Proficiency in responsive design, web accessibility standards (WCAG), and modern front-end build tools
- Experience working with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines in a collaborative development environment
- Demonstrated ability to debug and resolve issues across the full stack, including APIs and server-side integrations
- You embody our values of Clarity, Care and Candor
- You care deeply about fostering an environment where people of all backgrounds and experiences can flourish
- Experience with Elementor and advanced WordPress page-building at scale across multi-environment architectures (Production, Stage, Automation)
- Track record of improving Core Web Vitals and web performance in production environments with measurable before/after results
- Experience with A/B testing tools and conversion rate optimization applied to marketing or product web properties
- Background in design systems and component library development that supports both developer efficiency and design consistency
- Experience working in an open-source, AI, or data science-oriented company, bringing familiarity with technical audiences and developer-focused content
- You'll thrive in a high-performance environment where results are recognized and rewarded
- Your work directly contributes to shaping the future of data science, machine learning, and AI in the enterprise.
- You'll work alongside a collaborative team that values diverse, thoughtful discussion, clarity and candor.
- You'll be supported by a culture that puts employees first - with flexible hours, a fully remote setup, and a genuine commitment to your wellbeing and growth.
