We are growing our engineering teams at Trustpilot and are looking to welcome onboard Fullstack Software Engineers. Our SWE I vacancies sit within our Trust & Transparency (TnT) team! 

You will join a cross-functional team with full ownership of our products and codebase, where you will take part in every step of the development process, from ideation to maintenance. The Trust and Transparency teams are focus on upholding the core values of Trustpilot by building and maintaining user Trust. Across the three Trust teams we leverage AI and Machine Learning, process high volume data to combat fake reviews, promote trustworthy content, streamline and automate processes providing a consistent and credible user experience, and ensure all parties involved with Trustpilot are operating fairly in accordance with our terms of use. At Trustpilot, the environment encourages innovation and every engineer has a substantial influence on the service quality and user experience we're recognized for. 


What you’ll be doing:

  • Efficiently oversee assigned projects and tasks
  • Work in a cross-functional “full ownership” team alongside Product, Design, and Data Science where you will take part in every step of the process of building, from ideation and design to architecture, code, deployment, and maintenance
  • Take part in decision-making and design discussions during the development
  • Assist in planning, implementing, and releasing new features
  • Troubleshoot existing software, squashing those nasty little bugs
  • Inspire and challenge the organization with your knowledge of how to solve problems
  • Analyse, gather, and aggregate data to support decisions, both technical and non-technical

Who you are:

  • Experience in full-stack web development (extra point if also in a cross-functional team)
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs (ideally high volume) and distributed cloud services
  • Experience with component-based front-end development (ideally React, but we know you can learn quickly)
  • Although Cloud experience isn’t required for this role, we be excited to hear if you have hands-on experience 
  • A cooperative nature, keen on engaging in open dialogue and mutual exchange of constructive feedback
  • With a zealous and determined attitude toward your tasks, you encourage everyone to pursue ongoing enhancement in a constructive manner
