CrazyLabs, a world-leading mobile game developer with over 7 billion downloads to date, is looking for an experienced and creative Game Designer to work on a new industry-leading Hybrid Casual game.

Our ideal candidate should be a gamer with previous experience creating and maintaining successful and fun mobile games!

Role

  • Design new systems, features, game mechanics, & new content.
  • Balance and maintain the game’s economy & monetization
  • Review and analyze existing game features and live op events, and suggest solutions according to specific KPIs and business challenges.
  • Support existing live op events, and create new events to engage the game’s audience
  • Work closely with the game product owners to define requirements and roadmaps.
  • Create clear & complete game design documentation for game content & features, including briefs, flowcharts, feature layouts, UI/UX mockups, etc. 
  • Communicate and prioritize game design to development teams and relevant stakeholders
  • Facilitate the production process and be involved in critical review milestones
  • Coordinate with artists, programmers, and other team members to ensure the smooth integration of design elements into the game engine
  • Lead and balance game KPI based on data analytics and market trend decisions
  • Collaborate with the design team to create and implement engaging game content that aligns with the overall narrative and gameplay objectives
  • Participate in playtesting sessions, gathering and analyzing feedback to iterate on and improve game features and mechanics
  • Continuously research and keep up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging game design techniques and technologies.

Requirements
  • Have at least 4 years of game design experience in a Mobile F2P Studio/Mobile Gaming company, preferably with a focus on Casual or Hybrid Casual games.
  • Have a proven history of managing complex design projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of game design principles, including mechanics & systems, economy design, level design, monetization, and live ops.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Enjoy challenges and problem-solving
  • Be immersed in the gaming world, know the market and current trends
  • Positive and self-driven, with the ability to be collaborative in a team environment
  • Have proven ability to conceptualize, create, and implement game concepts using various tools and technology
  • Have excellent creative, analytical, and organizational skills with a proven ability to write, communicate, and maintain detailed design documentation throughout
  • Broad knowledge of games; passion for hybrid-casual, casual, and mid-core mobile games.
  • Proficiency in Unity - An advantage
