What's the role?
The Global Technology Procurement Team is a small but mighty team and part of larger Global Procurement Team located in the North America, EMEA and APAC regions. Our team is made up of high energy collaborators who interact with business requestors across the globe. We are viewed as trusted advisors and are relied upon to finalize competitive deals in a timely manner which fulfil requirements and mitigate risk. You will lead many diverse projects within the category and will have the ability to learn and grow in your career as the company expands into new markets. The larger Procurement Team allows our roles to engage in new categories and across any region.
You will be responsible for developing and owning the strategic Procurement efforts for the IT Hardware, Software, Security and related Services categories. You'll incorporate standard methodologies and align with Business Unit's requirements and company strategy. Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Develop and lead execution of global category strategies and improvement plans
  • Developing trusted relationships with the business/functional partners/suppliers
  • Leading cross-functional teams to ensure effective, collaborative and strategic sourcing decisions that satisfy requirements of internal partners
  • Define and drive global category strategies and improvement plans
  • Setting targets / objectives and monitoring key vendors performance
  • Work with key partners to identify global/regional category spend and drive joint annual sourcing savings by and across regions
  • Negotiate skillfully in situations with both internal and external parties and come to win-win outcomes


Who are you?
You are someone who can successfully collaborate with internal and external partners, has proven negotiation skills, and is capable of learning quickly in our dynamic marketplace. To be successful in this role you should have much of the following:

  • 10+ years business experience in strategic sourcing, global sourcing a plus
  • Ability to interface / engage with clients and suppliers via strong written, oral, and presentation skills
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient in Microsoft office products
  • Management consulting experience a plus
  • BS with MBA a plus
  • Certification of CPM or CPSM a plus
