Global Sourcing Manager

Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid) | Practice Area: Corporate Services – Procurement | Type: Permanent

Lead strategic sourcing and help shape global procurement excellence at Capco.

The Role

As a Global Sourcing Manager, you’ll work within Capco’s Global Procurement team to support sourcing and supplier management across all spend categories. You’ll play a key role in delivering commercial value, leading sourcing and contract negotiation activities, and fostering procurement advocacy throughout the business. Reporting to the Global Procurement Manager, you’ll help develop global procurement policies, guide regional teams, and strengthen procurement governance within a fast-paced, collaborative consultancy environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead sourcing, contract negotiation, and due diligence for high-value or complex third-party requirements in line with procurement policies.

  • Develop sourcing strategies and gain business buy-in to drive commercial and operational benefits.

  • Support supplier relationship management and help stakeholders optimise value from key vendor partnerships.

  • Identify sustainable savings and efficiencies across spend categories.

  • Provide guidance and oversight to regional teams to promote policy compliance and effective procurement practices.

What We’re Looking For
  • 4+ years’ experience in supply chain, sourcing, or procurement roles.

  • Broad experience in procurement and supplier management, ideally within professional or financial services.

  • Proven track record of delivering measurable benefits and influencing senior stakeholders.

  • Degree-qualified and/or MCIPS (or working towards accreditation).

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across cultures.

Bonus Points For
  • Experience developing or implementing global procurement frameworks or policies.

  • Demonstrated success managing complex vendor relationships across regions.

  • Experience in cost optimisation and contract risk management.

  • Proficiency in procurement systems or contract management tools.

  • A proactive and analytical approach to problem-solving.
