What you'll be doing;
- Support Veolia’s business activities and develop technical solutions related to the water cycle
- Technology watch on new processes and digitalisation
- Support the delivery of technical expertise to Veolia’s water and wastewater portfolio across municipal and industrial sectors with decarbonising in mind
- Implement operational innovation and excellence
- Develop and implement operational efficiency initiatives
- Use modelling tools and process calculations to predict and enhance treatment performance
- Support business cases
What we're looking for;
- Degree-level qualification in an Engineering Discipline - Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Chemical (to be achieved by September 2025)
- Willingness to learn new things and develop
- An enthusiastic, creative and solution-oriented thinker
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel

What We Do
Veolia UK provides solutions for ecological transformation. We are a company of almost 14,000 employees, although we prefer to think of ourselves as “resourcers”. Every day across the country our “resourcers” design and deploy useful and concrete solutions, which help our customers fight against climate change, prevent pollution of our water and create a circular economy where nothing goes to waste.
Every year, we serve around 1.8 million people through our municipal wastewater contracts. We complete over 400 million waste collections across our Local Authority contracts, serving over 3 million residential properties; and we treat over 1.5 million tonnes of commercial and industrial waste from our 85,000 private customers. We also produce over 560 MWe of renewable and low carbon electricity, to power over 1.3 million homes.
