Operational leadership

  • Support partner recruitment processes, including building business cases and engaging with candidates
  • Ensure effective financial and operational processes are in place
  • Collaborate with revenue and credit control teams to optimise working capital

Driving improvement & change

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency
  • Contribute to firm-wide initiatives and business transformation projects
  • Help evolve business practices to adapt to changing market demands

Collaboration & stakeholder engagement

  • Build trusted relationships with Partners and senior stakeholders
  • Work across teams, offices and regions to share best practice
  • Deputise for senior leadership where required

Team development

  • Line manage and support the development of a Finance Business Analyst
  • Share knowledge and contribute to the wider team’s development

What we’re looking for
We’re interested in individuals who bring a strong blend of commercial awareness, analytical thinking and relationship-building skills.

You’ll likely have:

  • Experience in a finance or business partnering role (ideally within professional services)

  • Confidence engaging with and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

What makes you stand out

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Enjoy working at both a strategic and detailed level
  • Are naturally collaborative and thrive in team environments
  • Take ownership, show initiative and drive results
  • Are adaptable and comfortable in a fast-moving environment

What you’ll get in return

  • A visible, high-impact role with exposure to senior leadership
  • The opportunity to influence key business decisions
  • A supportive and collaborative culture
  • Strong career development and progression opportunities
  • Involvement in meaningful, strategic work across the firm

What happens next?

Once your application has been submitted and reviewed, our Recruitment team will share the outcome with you by email.

We typically hold two interview stages per vacancy providing the opportunity to meet two members of the hiring team at each stage. The first stage is typically conducted virtually and the second stage typically in person at the office in which the role would be based. However, we strive to remain flexible depending on the requirements of the role or the candidate.

Our strength lies in our differences.

We are a Disability Confident and top Stonewall employer, a Valuable 500 member, a signatory of the Race at Work Charter and a proud partner of Neurodiversity in Law. We encourage and value different ideas and styles of thinking. It’s with different perspectives that we’ll find solutions to our clients’ most complex challenges. It’s how we’ll deliver outstanding results today, and tomorrow. We want everybody attending an interview to be comfortable and able to fully demonstrate their experience and talents.
