Job Description

Your daily pitch

Are you a critical thinker with an eye for detail and an analytical mindset?
We’re looking for a Group Internal Audit & Risk Manager (m/f/x) to take ownership of internal audits and risk management activities across the business. In this role, you’ll make sure our internal controls are solid, our governance is strong, and our teams are set up for success.

Your playing field

  • You’ll manage internal audit and risk management activities, ensuring everything runs in line with our methodology, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Your responsibilities include planning, organizing and conducting internal audits in accordance with internal audit standards and risk management activities.
  • You’ll take part in our internal audit planning process and share insights with Directors and Senior Management based on your analysis and findings.
  • You’ll deliver high-quality, commercially focused reports with clear recommendations and timelines for improvement
  • You build strong partnerships with key stakeholders, including first-line and second-line assurance functions.
  • You will be undertaking risk management workshops with business functions as necessary.
  • You’ll maintain the Group’s business risk register and support risk owners in making the most of our risk management tools.

Qualifications

Which skills should you bring to the pitch

  • Education. You hold a Bachelors' degree in accounting, business administration, economics or similar. Any qualifications such as CIA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA are highly beneficial.
  • Expertise. You bring a minimum of 5 years’ experience in internal audit, risk management and/or in an internal audit function of a company, ideally in the areas of iGaming, sportsbook, online casino and/or e-commerce. Herewith you have an in-depth expertise and comprehensive understanding of internal auditing theory and practice.
  • Systems & Processes. You possess profound understanding of accounting, controlling, management systems and processes as well as of data analysis and analytical reviews.
  • Analytical skills. You have excellent business and commercial acumen and big picture view paired with high attention to detail. Your analytical skills are therefore on high level.
  • Stakeholder Management. To manage stakeholders from different cross-functional teams and to maintain strong working relationships with them, you have excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Languages. As we are the number #1 sports betting company in Germany, being fluent in German is essential when communicating with stakeholders. Our team consists of more than 50 different nationalities working together to achieve the Tipico mission. English is how we communicate within the company.
