We are seeking a seasoned Product Manager to lead the modernization of our legacy SOAP APIs to RESTful APIs within the .NET ecosystem. This pivotal role will drive the product vision and roadmap for API transformation, ensuring seamless interoperability and enhanced scalability on Azure cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver a robust, cloud-native API platform that supports our evolving business needs. Responsibilities- Own the product vision and roadmap for the modernization of legacy SOAP APIs to REST APIs within the .NET ecosystem.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, QA, and DevOps teams to define clear, actionable requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Drive prioritization based on business impact, technical feasibility, and risk assessment.
- Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Oversee the design and implementation of REST API bridges on Azure to ensure seamless interoperability during the migration.
- Monitor project progress, resolve blockers, and ensure timely delivery of features.
- Define success metrics and KPIs for the modernization effort.
- Stay updated on industry trends in API design, cloud-native architectures, and Azure services.
- Manage product lifecycle from ideation through deployment and iteration.
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably in software modernization projects.
- Deep understanding of SOAP and RESTful API architectures.
- Experience working with .NET frameworks and Azure cloud services.
- Familiarity with API management platforms, API gateways, and microservices architecture.
- Strong technical background to engage with engineers on architectural decisions.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Azure API Management, Azure Functions, Logic Apps.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
