Job Purpose: • Unlock the value of our data to enable the business to operate more effectively and efficiently, improve collaboration with our partners and customers and sell data as a service• Deliver the data governance, data exploitation and science, data modelling, data integration and visualisation practices for AHUK• Build a suite of assets and products managed to deliver insight and foresight for the AHUK business• Simplify and evolve the reporting landscape to ensure we can deliver reporting that drives and delivers business value• Support Cencora and IBG data driven alignment and initiatives.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Build and lead a data and analytics service to deliver solutions for strategic (roadmap) and tactical (project) requirements across the business functionals aligned to the wider product roadmaps agreed with product owners
2. Build and drive the data vision and data mission statement through an agreed maturity model to deliver the evolving data strategy working closely with Cencora and IBG data leaders
3. Build, optimize and maintain a suite of data sources, data models insight and foresight analytics to enable the business owners to operate effectively and efficiently making decisions quickly and with trust
4. Lead governance of our Digital data assets, including development of governance plan and structure
5. Build communities for all the key data stakeholders that can influence the outcomes for data governance, quality, and data related project initiatives to support the data strategy and unlock business outcomes using data.
6. Drive the delivery teams to manage the backlog of reports and other assets to ensure we a increasing business value and aligned to our business strategy
7. Build business trust in the service, availability and quality and accuracy of data and analytics service.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:• BSc in Computer Science• Significant experience delivering data and analytics services for a large global FTSE 100 or Fortune 500 company - experience in working a 'Matrix' management structure is essential
Essential Requirements:• Experience running data management programs at a large distribution or logistics based companies• Knowledge of data management practices• In-depth understanding of enterprise reporting platforms such as Power BI, Qlik, Cognos, Business Objects• Good knowledge and experience delivering data science solutions and practices• Expertise in SQL and Oracle• Active industry knowledge of the current state of data management trends• Track record of developing successful Analytics functions delivering actionable insight using Business Intelligence and visualization tooling• Track-record of developing and implementing strategy for growing evolving a new capability• Track-record of leading multi-disciplined teams to deliver exceptional customer service and value• Demonstrated knowledge of data structure, data systems/tools and related software and data management policies and practices in a complex organisational environment• Proven record of making sound judgments, effective leadership, including the ability to balance team and individual responsibilities; building teams and consensus; getting things done through others not directly under his/her supervision; and working ethically and with integrity• Proven record of effective management, including planning and decision-making, identifying priorities and bringing projects to successful completion in a timely manner; and maintaining a focus on high standards and quality• Strong interpersonal skills - ability to work across organizations at all levels• Strong influencing and negotiating skills
