Scope3 is a fully remote company and largely asynchronous to provide flexible working hours and to operate globally, with concentrations in New York and Europe. At this time, we are hiring in Canada, Australia, UK, France, Germany, and the United States.
About The Role
We are excited to add a Head of Solutions Engineering to our “Research & Solutions” team of 12! Reporting to the Head of Research & Solutions, this individual will play a pivotal role in scoping and architecting deals and building the Solutions Engineering team globally. You are a trusted advisor to potential clients and our Sales team, demonstrating how sustainable solutions are better for business.
The ideal candidate is a MarTech domain expert who thrives working in a fast paced start-up environment with ever-evolving projects and priorities, and will play an important role in raising the bar for how we operate internally and with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Sales to deeply understand customer needs and challenges related to sustainability in advertising
- Be the product expert, showcasing Scope3 solutions and capabilities and how they help clients deliver on their goals
- Design and co-develop win-win solutions through whiteboard sessions, demos, and business cases
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of Solutions Engineers, consistent with Scope3’s mission and values
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and sustainability solutions
- Advocate for prospects and customers by partnering closely with internal teams (commercial, product and other supporting functions) to solve problems in the short-term while contributing to long-term solutions with potential to benefit Scope3’s entire client base
- Build repeatable processes and seek continuous improvement to enable the team to scale
Skills & Experience
- Building and scaling a technical pre-sales team(s) in a player/coach capacity
- Leading with an entrepreneurial and innovation mindset, comfortable working through an evolving business model and product opportunities
- Strong communicator and ability to effectively relay technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Familiarity with technical interfaces, programming/scripting, and databases and experience working with APIs and web-based technologies
- Possess a new or continued interest in sustainability, and how it’s shaping the future of advertising and the media industries
Preference May Be Given To Candidates With The Following:
- Experience in marketing, advertising, or ad tech
- Working knowledge of SQL and Python
