The Head/VP of Partnerships is a critical executive leadership role responsible for transforming Epignosis’s global partner ecosystem into a highly efficient and scalable engine for revenue generation and strategic market expansion. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, this leader will own the comprehensive strategy for recruiting, enabling, and managing all partner types (VARs, Solution Partners, System Integrators) to maximize partner-sourced ARR and accelerate market penetration across all portfolio products (TalentLMS, eFront, TalentHR & TalentCards).
This role requires a strategic builder who can balance aggressive growth targets with the development of trusted, high-value commercial relationships that solidify Epignosis’s market authority.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Head/VP of Partnerships, you will:
- Develop and execute the global partnership strategy, defining Ideal Partner Profiles (IPPs) and key stakeholder segments.
- Identify, recruit, and qualify high-potential partners to build a scalable, value-driven ecosystem.
- Align partners with IPPs and collaboration criteria through focused engagements.
- Onboard and equip partners with resources to drive sales and market impact.
- Support partners in delivering solution demos, handling objections, and building business cases to close deals confidently.
- Enhance partners’ ability to represent the brand effectively and persuasively.
- Track partner pipeline health, conversion rates, and revenue contributions.
- Coordinate with Sales and Customer Success to ensure smooth partner-led customer handoffs.
- Report on Partnerships channel performance and strategic progress to the CCO.
- Lead partner readiness programs, ensuring alignment on products, messaging, and pricing updates.
Requirements
To be successful in this role as a Head/VP of Partnerships, you should have:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Partnerships, Channels, or Business Development leadership roles, preferably within the B2B SaaS or EdTech industry.
- Proven track record of building and scaling global partner ecosystems that contribute significant, predictable ARR.
- Deep expertise in indirect sales models, VAR/SI channel landscapes, and technology partnership dynamics.
- Exceptional executive communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with a proven ability to close complex, high-value deals through partners.
- Experience in defining and implementing Partner Relationship Management (PRM) systems and data governance best practices.
- Self motivated, collaborative, and eager to contribute to a fast growing global partner ecosystem.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree strong plus.
