We’re looking for an HR Advisor to coordinate daily HR activities across the Global Employment Outsourcing (GEO) business, in-country experts, clients, and workers. You’ll manage the entire employment process - from onboarding to payroll, ensuring top-notch service and quality delivery in the UK.
This is a full time position, fixed term contract for 1 year.
How you will make a difference:
- Partner closely with the HR Services Manager to deliver exceptional and compliant GEO services for Safeguard’s global clients and workers, ensuring top-tier support and results.
- Manage the entire worker employment lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience at every stage.
- Serve as the go-to expert and first point of contact for all worker inquiries, providing timely and accurate support.
- Collaborate with HR resources to guarantee legal compliance throughout the full employment journey, keeping operations seamless and above board.
- Ensure all worker contracts are fully compliant with local legislation, safeguarding both workers and the company.
- Support the payroll process from start to finish—coordinating funding, billing, and adhering to the yearly payroll calendar to ensure accurate and timely payments.
- Keep an organised and up-to-date database of worker personal information and absence records, ensuring smooth operations and easy access to key data.
- Take on additional responsibilities and tasks as directed by management, contributing to the growth and success of the team in line with your role.
What will make you stand out:
- University Degree in HR or a related field, bringing a solid academic foundation to your role.
- Strong hands-on experience in HR, with a solid background in both HR operations and payroll.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English, allowing you to engage confidently and clearly with all stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of UK labor and employment laws, ensuring compliance and up-to-date expertise in your field.
- Cultural awareness and outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to build meaningful relationships across diverse teams and regions.
- A keen eye for detail, superb organizational skills, and the ability to stay resilient and focused under pressure.
- A high degree of independence and initiative, with the ability to thrive in a team environment, while taking full ownership of your responsibilities and driving results!
