Your team

Technology & Operations (T&O) enables BlackRock to scale, innovate, and deliver for clients. Within T&O, Outsourced Platform Services (OPS) designs and deploys investment operations processes that support BlackRock’s outsourced service model on Aladdin. The team works across investment operations and accounting to build scalable, resilient workflows that support complex investment strategies and deliver consistent service for clients.

Your role and impact

As a Middle Office Implementation Vice President, you will lead the implementation of middle office services for clients in line with BlackRock Operations standards. You will translate business requirements into effective operational solutions, guide key implementation decisions, and collaborate across client, production, technology, and operational teams. You will also serve as a senior regional escalation point, strengthen implementation controls, and develop the team’s ability to execute implementations independently and at scale.

Your responsibilities

The scope of this role also includes the following responsibilities:

• Serve as a technical guide by developing deep functional knowledge of middle office services and implementation practices.
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable operational workflows that translate client requirements into effective solutions aligned with BlackRock Operations standards.
• Partner with technology and production teams to optimize processes, scale operations, strengthen controls, and improve implementation efficiency.
• Conduct detailed data analysis to increase transparency, inform implementation decisions, and support strategic recommendations.
• Identify implementation and operational risks, communicate them clearly to management and stakeholders, and support effective risk-mitigation actions.
• Act as the senior regional escalation and decision-making authority for clients and key stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Build the capability and confidence of the team to lead and execute implementations independently and at scale.

Your experience

• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt approaches and deliver practical solutions in an evolving environment.
• A self-directed approach, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to continually developing knowledge of financial markets, technology, and investment operations.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex investment operations or middle office implementations, supported by a strong understanding of investment management

Our hybrid work model
