The Project Manager in Professional Services is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering client projects that align with business objectives and customer expectations. This role ensures effective coordination of resources, management of timelines and budgets, and clear communication with stakeholders. The Project Manager acts as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, driving high-quality outcomes, mitigating risks, and ensuring customer satisfaction while supporting the organisation's revenue and growth goals
Main Deliverables
  • Project plans, schedules, and resource allocations
  • Status reports and stakeholder communications
  • RAID logs and change control documentation
  • Budget tracking and financial reports
  • Client presentations and milestone sign-offs
  • Final project reports and handover documentation

Job Requirements
Skills
  • Project Management Experience: Have led complex SaaS implementations or customer-facing projects (typically for at least 5 years), with a track record of delivering measurable business outcomes - not just on-time delivery
  • Strong Project Ownership: You don't just manage timelines, you drive momentum, remove blockers, and take accountability for outcomes
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to build trust and manage client expectations effectively
  • Financial Acumen: Understanding of budgets, margins, and resource utilisation
  • Problem Solving: Ability to identify risks early and drive resolution
  • Time Management: Capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in planning, reporting, and delivery
  • Leadership: Ability to lead project teams without direct authority
  • Communication: Ability to communicate, engage and influence stakeholders at different levels, both internally and externally
  • Highly organised: Ability to manage multiple priorities, while maintaining attention to detail and quality
  • A proactive problem-solver: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making decisions in a fast-moving environment
  • Resilient and adaptable: Able to thrive in a scaling company where priorities, processes, and products are continuously evolving
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability: Track record of taking initiative and improving processes beyond your core role
  • Tech-savvy: Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new systems and tools (experience in HR tech is a plus)
  • An AI-curious mindset : Curious about how AI can improve delivery, efficiency, and customer experience, and open to embedding it into day-to-day work

Tools & Technical Knowledge (desirable)
  • Project management tools (e.g. Asana)
  • CRM or PSA tools (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace

Qualifications (desirable)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, Agile certifications)

Job Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Initiation
  • Define and manage project scope in alignment with Statements of Work (SOW)
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones
  • Establish resource requirements and allocate project teams
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and risk management plans

2. Project Execution & Delivery
  • Lead end-to-end project delivery across the full lifecycle
  • Monitor progress against plan, adjusting as required
  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies (RAID)
  • Ensure adherence to delivery methodologies and quality standards

3. Client & Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients
  • Provide regular status updates and progress reports
  • Facilitate meetings, steering committees, and workshops
  • Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of issues

4. Financial & Commercial Management
  • Track project budgets, costs, and resource utilisation
  • Analyse variances and implement corrective actions

5. Governance & Quality Assurance
  • Ensure compliance with internal project governance frameworks
  • Conduct quality checks and maintain delivery standards
  • Track KPIs and performance metrics
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting

6. Project Closure & Handover
  • Ensure client sign-offs
  • Conduct lessons learned and retrospectives
  • Ensure smooth handover to Technical Support and Customer Success Managers
  • Close projects in line with organisational processes
