With your passion and proficiency in Access and Inclusive Design, we'll make a positive impact on key clients like the Department for Transport, National Highways, Transport Scotland, Transport for Wales, Northern Ireland Department for Infrastructure, National Rail, Transport for London and numerous Local Authorities, delivering what's right for people and the environment.

Whilst we offer flexible working policies, this role would require you to be based any of our UK offices a minimum of 2-3 days per week.

Your purpose:

  • Providing commercial support to our access and inclusive design team to enable growth.
  • Winning work; leading on developing and growing our inclusive design offering and market share, and supporting business and commercial functions such as managing/supporting bids.
  • Drawing on existing contacts and undertaking Client and Market engagement to sell our offerings.
  • Growing, enabling and supporting our inclusive design team to meet the increasing market.
  • Collaborating and engaging with internal project / design teams and external stakeholders.
  • Project delivery as part of our Access and Inclusive Design consultancy offering.

What you can bring:

  • Proven commercial ability; in winning work, growing markets, and developing high achieving teams.
  • A passion for growth, primarily in the active travel, local authority and highways markets, but also rail, urban realm, and other transportation markets, and collaborating with colleagues in other regions, and markets such as workplace, health and social care, etc.
  • Inclusive design knowledge and experience of influencing and leading design teams to provide high quality and right first-time projects.
  • Demonstrable collaboration and engagement skills.
