About the role and about You:

We’re looking for an Industry Marketing Manager who is energised by people, places, and relationships. This role is for someone who loves working with retail partners, understands grassroots cycling triathlon communities, and knows how to turn strategy into real-world execution.

You’ll support regional retail stores, Zwift Ready brands, and distributors, helping ensure they feel informed, empowered, and excited to represent Zwift. You’ll also help nurture local communities through activations, programs, and consistent touchpoints that strengthen long-term relationships.

This is a mid-level role for someone who can confidently own programs, manage multiple stakeholders, and bring a positive, proactive mindset to everything they do. A requirement is that this individual is fluent in both Japanese and English.

What you’ll do:

  • Support and execute regional industry marketing programs for retail partners and distributors
  • This is an individual contributor role which will require you to wear multiple hats, from helping set up for local events to rolling out regional retail training programs
  • Act as a key marketing point of contact for Zwift Ready brands, ensuring alignment on messaging, assets, and activations
  • Help bring Zwift to life in bike shops and community spaces through toolkits, events, and in-store experiences
  • Partner with regional teams to support retail education, product storytelling, and community engagement
  • Assist in building and managing local community programs, including store-led rides, runs, demos, and events
  • Coordinate marketing assets, timelines, and communications across multiple partners
  • Gather insights from retail and community partners and feed them back to internal teams
  • Ensure all activations feel on-brand, authentic, and valuable to partners and Zwifters alike
  • When required be the point of contact for any local agencies or supporting marketing functions
  • Focus markets include Japan, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea

What we’re looking for:

  • Fluent in Japanese and English
  • Builds trust easily and enjoys working with retailers, brands, and distributors
  • Takes pride in being reliable, responsive, and detail-oriented
  • Leads with empathy and curiosity, especially when supporting local partners
  • Is comfortable juggling multiple regions, partners, and priorities
  • Brings a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude to execution
  • Communicates clearly and positively—internally and externally
  • Cares deeply about community and understands the power of grassroots marketing
  • Experience working with retail partners, distributors, or brand programs
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Strong understanding of Zwift from a game and technical setup side.
  • A passion for cycling
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support stores and events
  • Already an active Zwifter or aware of Zwift

Bonus points:

  • Background in bike shops, run specialty retail, or distributor environments
  • Experience supporting local events, demos, or grassroots programs
  • Multilingual
  • Active on social media and understand the innerworkings and purposes of the different platforms
